Silver Flower Painted Bell Cup - by Tokocha Studio

A vessel for drinking, and for fragrance.

Thrown on the wheel in the classic bell shape, the cup opens wide at the rim before narrowing gently towards the foot. Its generous opening allows the tea’s aroma to rise freely, while the tapering form brings the cup naturally to the lips.

Against a white glazed ground, the surface is hand-painted in blue with delicate silver flowers, inspired by 银花香 · Silver Flower Fragrance, the alternative name for our Duckshit Aroma Phoenix Dancong. The flowers echo the tea’s distinctive fragrance, translating an aroma once held only in the cup into a form that can be seen and remembered.

A quiet study of scent and memory, the cup brings the fragrance behind 鸭屎香 · Duckshit Aroma into the act of drinking it.

The blue-and-white palette brings together two traditions close to the artist: the Chinese blue-and-white ceramics of her heritage and the familiar blue-and-white language of Dutch Delftware. Reinterpreted through a contemporary tea vessel, the two meet around the enduring language of clay, colour and craft.

雾 · Mist Collection

Refined, fluid and smooth. The 雾 Mist collection evokes the softer side of Yanwu Peak, where mountain meets mist.

Tokocha Studio by Fabienne Tjia

Ceramic artist exploring material, touch and ritual. For Yanwu, Fabienne translates traces of the mountain into vessels for tea, working through texture, form and the marks of the hand.
