鸭屎香 - Ya Shi Xiang

Every great tea has a story; this one has a legend.

A farmer on Phoenix Mountain grew something so fragrant that neighbours came asking for cuttings. To protect his trees, he fenced ducks around the bush and told anyone who asked that the soil is nothing special, just earth where ducks wander.

The name was born from a lie. The tea, of course, is nothing of its kind.

  • Aroma

Freshly baked pastry, dried tropical fruit mix, floral, citrus rind, vanilla.

    Taste

Gentle clarity unfolding into layered vanilla and tropical fruit. Pineapple at the forefront, becoming honeyed pastry.

    Body

Light to medium, smooth and silky.

    Finish

Clean, short. But the aftertaste is long: floral, baked ripened pineapple pastry.
