Thrown on the wheel with a tall, slender form, the cup is raised on a classic Chinese-style elevated foot, giving the vessel a refined profile and a natural place to rest between the fingers.

Finished in the same misty glaze, soft white tones gather towards the foot before warming into subtle beige hues at the rim. The shifting surface evokes the clouds and mist that move across Yanwu Peak, where the mountain slowly disappears into the sky.

The elevated base brings a lightness to the form, while offering a comfortable grip for drinking. Against the pale glaze, the natural colour of Phoenix Dancong comes quietly into focus.
