Sphere Longan Ash Glazed Chaozhou Teapot - by Tokocha Studio

A vessel shaped for the mountain, and the speed of tea.

Rounded and generous through the middle, the broader body of the pot gives the large, twisted leaves of Phoenix Dancong space to unfold and rest naturally across the pot. A short spout is designed for rapid pouring and clean decanting, supporting the short steeping times of Chaozhou gongfu tea, fast in, fast out, with each infusion captured at its peak.

Finished inside and out with a soft longan ash glaze, made from the same longan wood ash used in the final stage of roasting our Dancong teas. The smooth glazed interior helps preserve the fragrance of highly aromatic teas, allowing their character to remain clear and expressive without being absorbed into the clay.

A carved floral detail crowns the lid, adding a quiet gesture of the hand to the otherwise rounded form.

In the cup, tea brewed from the pot is made to reveal clarity: a distinct mineral backbone, or 岩韵 · Yan Gu, pronounced fruit notes and a well-managed astringency, a balance that allows the tea to move quickly from fragrance to flavour.

雾 · Mist Collection

Refined, fluid and smooth. The 雾 Mist collection evokes the softer side of Yanwu Peak, where mountain meets mist.
