A vessel for fragrance, and for drinking.

Inspired by the traditional aroma cup, its elongated form gathers the fragrance of Phoenix Dancong, floral, honeyed and mineral, before each sip.

An intricate carved relief of orchids unfolds across the stoneware body, inspired by 草兰香 · Orchid Meadow, one of our Phoenix Dancongs. Carved by hand, the flowers sit in relief against the surface, translating the delicate orchid character of the tea into form.

Finished with a longan ash glaze, made from the same longan wood ash used in the final stage of roasting our Dancong teas. Brought back from the mountain, the ash becomes part of the vessel, connecting the final stages of tea-making with the clay that holds it.

Designed to be held directly to the lips, it brings the aromatic character of the tea closer to the drinker, extending the ritual from fragrance to taste.
